Coding Instructor
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct instructional sessions with enthusiasm and clarity, utilizing an age-appropriate curriculum that includes languages like Scratch, Python, and JavaScript.
- Foster a classroom environment that upholds Love to Code Academy’s values and supports students in developing our core 'Champion of Character' traits.
- Evaluate student progress with a mindset focused on encouragement and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to innovate and improve the educational offerings continuously.
- Engage with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and advice for supporting their child's learning journey.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field; teaching certification is a plus.
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience, especially in a technology or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of coding concepts and enthusiasm for technology and education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and parents.
- Proven ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor young learners.
- Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and abilities.
