Our Story

We Didn’t Set Out to Build a Coding School

We set out to answer a harder question.

Love to Code Academy exists because we believe technology is one of the most powerful environments for developing the skills that matter most in life — confidence, teamwork, persistence, and leadership.

Learn How We’re Different

The Question We Kept Asking

What if technology could be the environment where kids develop the skills that actually matter?

Like a lot of parents and educators, we started paying attention to something that bothered us. Kids were spending hours on screens every day — watching videos, playing games, scrolling through content. Technology was everywhere in their lives. But most of it was not helping them grow. It was just keeping them occupied.

At the same time, we saw families struggling to find activities that worked for kids who did not fit neatly into traditional sports or music programs. Some kids are naturals in those environments. Many are not. And those kids often end up in activities they do not love, or no activities at all.

Our Conviction

Technology was never the problem.

When kids engage with technology the right way — building things, solving problems, working with teams — something powerful happens. They get excited. They stay engaged. They push through frustration because they care about what they are creating.

Technology is the environment. Character is the outcome.

What We Built

Something different.

Love to Code Academy was built on a simple but uncommon idea: technology is the environment, not the goal. When students build games, engineer robots, or compete on esports teams, they are not just learning technical skills. They are practicing teamwork, persistence, integrity, and leadership — in real situations, with real stakes, alongside real teammates.

The traits they develop are not a byproduct of the program. They are the program.

The Moment That Changes Things

Parents often enroll because of coding or robotics. They stay because of something more.

It comes when their child pushes through a problem they would have quit on six months ago. When they stand up and present their work with confidence they did not have before. When they encourage a teammate instead of blaming one. When they start helping younger students without being asked.

That is the moment. And when parents see it, they don’t think about coding anymore. They think about their child.

Where We’re Going

The leading youth character development academy.

Our vision is to become the place families think of first when they want their child to develop confidence, teamwork, and purpose through engaging, hands-on technology experiences. We are building toward that future one student at a time.

We grow kids, not just coders.
