Proof of Growth

Student achieving a milestone at Love to Code Academy

How It Works

Proof of Growth:
You'll see the difference.

Parents don't have to take our word for it. Our system makes student development visible โ€” in skills, in character, and in leadership โ€” at every stage of the journey.

๐Ÿฅ‹

Belt Progression

Nine identity milestones that name who the student is becoming โ€” not just what they can build.

๐ŸŽค

Capstone Presentations

Students present their work to family and peers โ€” explaining what they built and who they became in the process.

๐ŸŒฑ

Lab Tech Leadership

The highest milestone โ€” students become mentors, coaching younger students through their own journeys.

Belt Progression

Each belt names who the student is becoming.

A student who completes the technical project but does not show the required character does not advance. When a student earns a belt, it represents real demonstrated growth in both character and skill. Each belt also carries a Belt Promise โ€” a description of who the student is becoming โ€” and a Belt Motto โ€” a short phrase that reinforces the mindset of that stage.

Lab Tech Leadership

The shift from student to mentor is the most powerful proof of growth we offer.

The most advanced students move beyond learning โ€” they begin leading. Lab Tech mentors assist coaches during sessions, help younger students troubleshoot their projects, and model the character traits the academy is built on. A student who has become a Lab Tech is demonstrating every pillar of the Character Framework at once โ€” in service of the people around them.

The most important thing your child builds here isn't a game or a robot. It's who they're becoming.

What Parents Notice Outside the Academy

Growth doesn't stay inside the building.

โœ“

More confidence when facing a hard problem

โœ“

Greater patience and persistence when things don't go as planned

โœ“

Stronger collaboration with siblings and friends

โœ“

Pride in finishing something they worked hard to build

โœ“

Encouraging others instead of waiting to be encouraged
